Last Rites Held For C. G. Guin Wednesday Morning

C. G. Guin, 82, of Montgomery, native of Winn Parish, died at the residence of
a daughter, Mrs. T. H. Colvin, Pineville, Dec. 27, 1948.  He is survived by
three sons, Ace Guin of Montgomery, Walter Guin of Tullos, and Charley Guin of
Montgomery; three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Cooty of Nowata, Okla., Mrs. T. H.
Colvin of Pineville, and Mrs. M. D. Hamm of Palacious, Texas.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Montgomery Methodist
Church.  Interment was in the Eureka Cemetery under direction of Hixson
Funeral Home.

Attending the last rites from Winnfield were Mrs. John Corley, Mrs. W. C.
Colvin, Mrs. A. T. Drewett, Sr., Mrs. Daisy Chelette, and Mrs. Annabelle
Dickerson.
