Ed Carruth officiating. Burial was in the Union Grove Cemetery, Montgomery, under direction of Hixson Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were J. F. Smith, Leo Baker, J. L. Sanders, Amos Moore, Jimmie Bardin, Owen Capps, and Dewey Allbritton. The deceased was an employee of the Arkansas Fuel Company, and was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pinkie L. Guin, Tullos; two brothers, Asa and Charlie Guin of Montgomery; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Colvin of Pineville, Mrs. Maggie Cooty of Beaumont, and Mrs. Lynnie Hamm of Houston.
