M. H. Gunn

Funeral services for Murrell H. Gunn, 58, of Montgomery, were at 10 a.m.
Friday in the First Methodist Church in Montgomery.  The Rev. Dorothy McGowen
officiated.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Montgomery by Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Mr. Gunn died Tuesday, March 21, 1978, at St. Luke Hospital at Houston, Texas
after a short illness.

A native of Woodworth, Mr. Gunn was a member of the First United Methodist
Church.  He was a retired supervisor with the Grant Parish School System and
has also served as principal at Montgomery High School.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Gunn of Montgomery, and one son,
Steve Gunn of Natchitoches.
