Mrs. D. C. Gunn Buried at Hodge Tuesday, Jan. 16

Mrs. D. C. Gunn, 68 years, died at her home here January 13.  She had been in
ill health for many months.  A native of Bienville Parish she had resided in
Winnfield for the past 25 years.

Funeral services were conducted at Walnut Ridge near Hodge, January 16, with
the Rev. Arnold of Smackover, Ark., officiating.

Surviving Mrs. Gunn are her husband of Winnfield, two sons and two daughters,
Mrs. Eula Bunce of Bradford, Pa., Leon Gunn of Winnfield, Mrs. Gertie Scott of
Smackover, Ark., and D. C. Gunn, Jr., of Port Arthur, Texas.  Four brothers
also survive: H. A. Hines of Tioga, Willie Hines of Effie, La., larkin and
Walter Hines of New Verda.
