Funeral Held Tuesday For Jonesboro Citizen

Neil F. Gunn, 55, died suddenly in his home in Jonesboro Sunday afternoon after 
suffering a heart attack.  Mr. Gunn was born and reared in Bienville Parish.  
He had been residing in Jonesboro for more than twenty years where he had been 
engaged in plumbing work.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mr. Gunn is survived by eight children, twin boys, Billie and Calvin, age 13, 
Neil, Jr., 11, Judson, 6, Alice, 9, and three grown daughters, Misses Sarah, 
Ruth, and Marjory, all of Jonesboro; four brothers, D. C. Gunn of Winnfield, J. 
D. Gunn, of Montgomery, and Eugene Gunn of Port Arthur, Texas; four sisters, 
Rev. Mrs. Mary E. Bartlet and Mrs. H. M. Ernest of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. M. 
E. Glotfelter of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. M. Dyer.
