Funeral Rites For W. H. Gunn Held Sunday

William Howard Gunn, 45, of Montgomery, died at 1:35 p.m. Friday, May 12, 1972
in Confederate Memorial Medical Center in Shreveport following a lengthy
illness.

He was a native of Winn Parish.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Mt. Zion Methodist
Church in Montgomery with the Rev. George McVay officiating.  Burial was in
the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

He is survived by one son, William Jeffery Gunn, and one daughter, Jane Gunn,
both of Phoenix, Ariz.; his mother, Mrs. Jessie Gunn of Montgomery; two
brothers, James J. Gunn of Brookhaven, Penn., and Merl Gunn of Montgomery.
