Johnston Gunter Succumbs To Heart Attack Saturday

Johnston Gunter, 44, of Goldonna, La., who suffered a heart attack last week
died Saturday, August 12, in the Baptist Hospital, Alexandria.

Funeral services were held at the Goldonna Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at
4 o'clock with Rev. Allen of Hodge, officiating.  Interment was in the
Goldonna Cemetery.  The Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield was in charge of
the arrangements.

Mr. Gunter is survived by four sisters and two brothers.  They are Mrs. Mike
Shetley of Winnfield, Mrs. J. C. Jarnagin of DeBerry, Texas, Mrs. Ellen McGeen
of Goldonna, Mrs. Myrtle Stewart of Long Beach, California, W. A. Gunter of
Goldonna, and Miles Gunter of Colfax.
