Mrs. W. A. Gunter of Goldonna Succumbs To Lengthy Illness

Mrs. Mike Shetley, of Winnfield, was called to Goldonna, La., Monday because
of the death of her brother's wife, Mrs. W. A. Gunter, 66, who died Monday
morning after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at Goldonna at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with
the Rev. James, Baptist pastor of the Goldonna church, officiating.  The
Southern Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.  Burial was made
in the Goldonna Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Preston Beal of
Natchitoches, Mrs. Richard Gunter, Mrs. Hettie Lucky, and Mrs. Ilene Hall, all
of Goldonna; two sons, Chester and Weldon, of Goldonna; and one brother, Ed
Stewart of Texas City, Texas.
