E. G. Guthrie Dies of Injuries In Fall From Moving Truck

E. G. Guthrie, age 48, died January 13th of injuries received when he fell
from the back of a moving truck on which he was riding from Winnfield to his
home, the accident occurring about a quarter of a mile from his home near
Calvin. Frank Carpenter, driver of the truck, was unaware of the accident
until the wheel had passed over the body of Mr. Guthrie. Funeral services were
conducted by the Rev. Frank P. Moss and interment was made in the Bethlehem
Cemetery the following day.
