Funeral Services At Liberty Chapel For Mrs. Guynes

Last rites for Mrs. Jessie D. Guynes, 67, of Williana, were held at Liberty
Chapel Church at 3 p.m. August 27 with the Rev. M. E. Mercer of Pollock
officiating.  Assisting was Rev. DeVille of Pineville.  Burial was in Liberty
Chapel Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brother Funeral Home.

Mrs. Guynes passed away at a local hospital Friday, August 26, after a lengthy
illness.  She was the widow of the late George R. Guynes.

Surviving are one son, G. D. Guynes, of Williana; three brothers, W. P. Deen
of Winnfield, O. B. Deen of Dry Prong, and Tom Deen of Colfax; and three
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Lonnie Deen, Earl Deen, Lee Deen, Keener Nugent, Conrad
Nugent, Edwin Yates, Jr., E. J. Buchanan, and Grady Crooks.
