M. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1966, in the First Methodist Church here by Rev. Richard Walton. Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery, under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Gwin, a retired school teacher, died at 11:45 Monday, November 14, 1966 in a nursing home here after a short illness. She was a native of Texas and a member of First Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Malcolm M. Gwin, Halecenter, Tex., two daughters, Mrs. J. O. Dockins, Scott, Ark., and Mrs. Herbert Jones, Stutgart, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Turner, Lufkin, Tex., Mrs. Dora Burch, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Vernon Murray, Fedias, Tex.; five grandchildren and seven Great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. G. Russell Jr., Frank Shaw Jr., Dr. Ray Jenkins, Dennis Shell, Kelly Peterson and Dudley Shell. Honorary pallbearers were J. G. Russell, Sr., Dr. F. C. Wren, Jim Collins, Willie Garr, L. Rickerson, M. T. Crowe, W. F. Minor and Judge R. D. Cantwell.
