Funeral Services for I.F. Gates Held Tuesday Afternoon

Funeral services for I.F. Gates, age 82, who died at his home at Sikes on
Monday, were held Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Joe Adams conducting the
last rites.

Mr. Gates is a member of one of the pioneer families of this section and is
survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters, and a host of other
relatives. He was a member of the Baptist church.
