Mrs. Goolsby, 73, Dies; Burial At New Hope

Mrs. Rose Alma Gaar Goolsby, 73, of Dodson, died at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday,
September 15, 1973 in a local hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. T. T. McCord officiating.  Burial was in the
New Hope Cemetery.

She was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Goolsby of Dodson; two daughters,
Mrs. William L. Monroe, Mrs. Leroy Deas of Dodson, four grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
