At the time of the accident, the four persons were enroute from Shreveport to Winnfield. Shen Mrs. Corbitt, driver of the heavy sedan, attempted to pass another car driven by Mrs. Clawson Jones of Red River Parish, also traveling south, the car skidded and overturned in a shallow ditch. The three injured persons were rushed to Tri-State hospital here in a Rool Osburn & Sons ambulance. Mrs. Corbitt was the most seriously injured. After treatment for slight cuts and abrasions, Mr. Corbitt and Mrs. Cooper were discharged to their homes.
