Mrs. Fitzgerald of Monroe Is Laid To Rest Here Sun. Mrs. L. Z. Fitzgerald,
who died in her home in Monroe Saturday, was buried in Winnfield Sunday
afternoon. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a former resident of Winnfield. She had been
confined to her bed for almost two years with tuberculosis and had been very
ill for two weeks prior to her death. The body was brought to Winnfield
Sunday afternoon where the funeral services were held at the Baptist Church.
Rev. P. O. Moffett accompanied the bereaved family to Winnfield and
conducted the services. He was assisted by Rev. A. H. Cullen. Mrs.
Fitzgerald is survived by her husband and four little children, her father,
and several sisters and brothers.
