B. Hodge, 81, Dies; Rites Held December 25 Funeral services for Andrew B. Hodge, 81, who died December 23, 1966 in a Winnfield hospital after a sudden illness were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. Rev. C. C. Martin and Rev. J. W. Kennedy officiated. Burial and Masonic graveside rites were in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. He was a native of Alabama, but had lived in Winnfield since 1931. He was a retired employee of the Tremont & Gulf Railway and a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dr. Bartow Hodge of Mt. Kisco, N. Y., and Joseph S. Hodge of Vicksburg, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Curtis Hogg of Jonesboro; a brother, Codus Hodge of Malone, Ala.; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Easterwood and Mrs. Obera Stephens, both of Malone, Ala., and Mrs. Lula Marshall and Mrs. Gladys Johnson, both of Alexandria City, Ala.; and 10 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
