Mrs. Lee Horn, Native of Winn, Dies January 7

Mrs. Alice Horn, 75, of Montgomery, died at 7 a.m. Friday, January 7, 1966 in
Martin's Hospital in Winnfield after a long illness.  She was a native of Winn
Parish.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m Saturday in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church
near Montgomery.  The Rev. Dale Durand, Jr. officiated.  Burial was in the
church cemetery with Southern Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors are her husband, Lee Horn; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Rikard and
Mrs. Charles Bryant of Montgomery; five sons, George, G. L. and Emmett Horn of
Montgomery, Lewis Horn of Ville Platte and M. L. Horn of Baytown, Texas; two
sisters, Mrs. Effie Halle of Montgomery and Mrs. Bennie DeLong of
Natchitoches; three brothers, Dewey Irby of Natchitoches, Henry and Lonnie
Irby of Natchitoches; 17 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
