Horn, 75, Succumbs; Rites Thursday George Richard Horn, 75, Montgomery, died Tuesday, October 20, 1970 after a lengthy illness in Alexandria. He was a veteran of World War I. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Mt. Zion Church with the Rev. Dell Durand officiating, assisted by Rev. G. A. McVay. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula Horn of Montgomery; four sons, R. B. Horn and Harry Horn, both of Montgomery; Johnny Horn of Winnfield and Ben Horn of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Madeline Mitchell of Montgomery and Mrs. W. F. Duffy of Pineville; two brothers, Paul Horn of Natchitoches and Dan Horn of Shreveport; one sister, Eva Alexander of Alexandria; 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
