Harrison of Montgomery, died Monday, December 4, 1967, in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Montgomery Methodist Church with Rev. Henry E. Pickett officiating. Burial was in the Old Montgomery Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mrs. Harrison was a native of Montgomery and a member of the Montgomery Methodist Church. She was a charter member of the Women's Society of Christian Services and held life membership. She held charter memberships in the Pioneer Chapter, Order of Eastern Star and the Montgomery Civic Club. She was also a member of the St. Venis Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her husband; one son, Loyd Bernard Harrison of Colfax; two daughters, Mrs. Herschell Hughes and Mrs. Melvin Hall, Jr., both of Montgomery; six sisters, Missess Kathleen and Marguerite Teddlie, both of Montgomery, Mrs. Van M. Woodward of Natchitoches, Mrs. Roy M. Wilson, Mrs. W. W. Alseep (Alsup?) Of Shreveport, and Mrs. Hazel Thomas of Dallas, Tx., six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were David L. Ward, J. D. Williams, E. C. Ervin, Kent Wardlow, Ira Downs, and J. D. Boston, Jr.
