E. Haddox Victim of Pneumonia

Funeral services for Elven Haddox, 26 years old, were held at the family
home here Tuesday morning with the Rev. Wier, the Rev. Stokes, and the Rev.
Cullen in charge.  Interment was made in the Sanders Cemetery, near Calvin
Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased was the victim of pneumonia, which developed after a relapse
of the influenza.  He died early Monday morning after a short illness.
 
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Haddox, two sisters, Ina and
Edna, and one brother, Hillary Haddox, all of Winnfield.

He had been an employee of the Winnfield Bakery for several years.
