Revs. Ira Kirk, Robert Gage, and Eugene Love officiated, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Miss Hall, a freshman at Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, was killed Thursday, May 6, at about 5:30 p.m. in a one car accident on U. S. Highway 71, approximately two miles south of Bunkie. State police officials investigating the accident said Miss Hall, driving alone on a rain-slicked highway, apparently tried to avoid hitting three eighth grade Negro children on bicycles. The children rode out from a side road into the left lane as Miss Hall was passing two cars but hadn't passed the second car. She swerved into the ditch on the left side of the highway and the car overturned. An honor graduate of Winnfield Senior High School in 1970, she was chosen salutatorian and named as an LSU Alumni Scholar. The LSU coed was a national merit finalist and named Good Citizen by the Daughters of the American Revolution. She held memberships in various school organizations, including the Anchor Club, Masque and Gavel Club, and Student Council. Miss Hall was named to the Senior Hall of Fame and Miss FBLA while in high school. She was a member of Delta Beta Sigma Sorority and the First Christian Church of Winnfield. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Randall Hall, Jr. of Winnfield and her maternal grandmother, mrs. H. R. Reynolds of El Dorado, Ark. Her father is owner of radio station KVCL here. Pallbearers were Earl Wright, Earl Denning, Rodney Guilliams, Greg Gaar, Jamie Kraft, and Joe Stewart.
