Hall Victim Of Sudden Heart Attack on Sunday Funeral Services Monday 10 A.M. With Masonic Rites Funeral services for J. R. Hall, 59, were held from the home, Monday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. G. A. Morgan, Rev. Alwin Stokes, and Rev. H. H. McBride officiating. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery with the Masons in charge. Mr. Hall passed away early Sunday morning from a sudden heart attack. Until stricken about midnight, he had apparently been in good health, and died before a doctor could be summoned. For many years, Mr. Hall had been associated with J. D. Pace in real estate and the early oil development in north Louisiana. The deceased was very active in state and parish Democratic circles, being a member of the Winn Parish Democratic Convention at Baton Rouge. In addition, he had served as Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge and as a member of the Grand Lodge. Surviving members of his family are his widow, two sons, John Robert and W. V. Hall of Winnfield; a brother, Lester Hall of Baton Rouge; and a sister, Mrs. Docia McDade of Winnfield.
