Hall Held Here January 17 Mrs. Maggie Dickerson Hall, 86, of 420 W. Lafayette Street, Winnfield, died in a Columbia, La., clinic at 8:30 a.m. January 16, after a long illness. She had been residing in Columbia for the past several months but had spent her entire life in Winn Parish up until that time. She was the widow of the late J. R. Hall, well known business man in this area. Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield, with Rev. R. H. Staples officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home. Acting as pallbearers were James Russell, Clyde DeLoach, Dennis Shell, Dudley Shell, Burton Williams, and Newton Forrest. Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Dickerson, pioneer residents of Winn Parish. She is survived by two sons, Willie Verne Hall and John Robert Hall, both of Winnfield; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. B. W. Bailey of Winnfield. Attend Last Rites Out of town relatives attending the last rites here Tuesday were Mr. and Mrs. Glynn Wyatt of St. Maurice, Miss Clara Alma Brian of Shreveport, and James Hall of Houma.
