Mrs. Hammons Dies; Burial At Harmony Grove

Mrs. Allie Hammons, 76, of Winnfield died Sunday, March 2, 1975 in a
Shreveport hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Hammons was the widow of Wiley Hammons and a member of the Baptist
Church.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Buck Edmonds Memorial
Chapel in Jonesboro with the Rev. James G. Ganey and the Rev. Calvin Phelps
officiating.  Burial was in the Harmony Grove Cemetery.

.............Mrs. Delia White and Mrs. Mary Anders, both of Jena, Mrs. W. Fred
Mercer of Winnfield and Mrs. Lee Bolton, also of Jena, and a number of nieces
and nephews.
