Hamilton Funeral services for Ben R. Hamilton, 52, were held Tuesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with the Rev. C. C. Martin and the Rev. W. C. Jones officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Ben and James Harvelle, John William Smith, G. W. Jones, John W. Gorham, and Albert Kelly, Jr. Mr. Hamilton, a disabled World War II veteran, died unexpectedly at his residence on the Atlanta Road Monday at 1:30 a.. He was a native of Arkansas, and a member of the Baptist Church and had been residing in Winnfield for the past nine years. Survivors are his wife; two sons, Thomas and Joe Hamilton; two daughters, Patricia and Ruby Hamilton, all of Winnfield; two brothers, Thomas B. of Castor, La., and Marshall Hamilton of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Jones of West Monroe and Mrs. Joe Curry of Wisner.
