C. J. Hammons, 87, To Be Buried At Harmony Grove

C. J. Hammons, 87, retired farmer of Gaars Mill, died at his home late
Wednesday.  Funeral services will be held at the Harmony Grove Church at 2
p.m. Friday, with the Rev. J. D. Kitchingham officiating.  Burial will be in
the Harmony Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Hammons was a lifelong resident of that community.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lou Fox Hammons, Gaars Mill; four sons, Justin,
Gaars Mill, Ernest and Franklin, Dodson, and Elvin of Sikes; one brother,
Aaron Hammons of Ruston.
