R. R. Hancock, Sr., Winn Native, Dies Monday

Richard R. Hancock, Sr., of Alexandria, died Monday, December 24, 1973 at 9:30
a.m. in a hospital in Alexandria.

He was a native of Winn Parish and was in the milk trucking business.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, from Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in
Alexandria.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucinda Vercher Hancock of Alexandria, three
daughters, Mrs. Earl R. Reed of Alexandria, Mrs. David Kinnear of East
Chicago, Indiana, Mrs. Kathleen Michael of Alexandria; one son, R. R. Hancock,
Jr., of Pineville, La.; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Ingles, Pineville, one brother,
D. H. Hancock of Baytown, Texas, and five grandchildren.
