Jonesboro Man Dies Of Apparent Suicide

A 61 year old Jonesboro man died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot would
late Monday afternoon in Winn Parish.

Sheriff Dan Page said that Harold W. Hargrove was found around 3:30 p.m.
Monday by a passing motorist.  His body was slumped over the steering wheel of
his automobile, Page said, which was parked beside a parish road in the
Tannehill Community five miles north of Winnfield.

Hargrove died of a gunshot wound to the head.  Two weapons were found in
the automobile.

Coroner Dr. Randy Williams ordered an autopsy.
