Mrs. Hobbs' Sister Dies

Mrs. P. M. Mercer received news this week of the death of Mrs. Jesse Harbin,
in Shreveport, December 30.  Mrs. Harbin was ill with pneumonia.  She is
survived by her husband (Jesse Barham Harbin), two sons (Jesse Burl Harbin and
Perry Kee Harbin), and other relatives.  Mrs. Jim Hobbs (Lottie Lee Smith) of
Hudson is a sister of Mrs. Harbin.

(Perry Kee Smith Harbin, b. 10-26-1885, Union Parish, La., was the daughter of
Perry K. Smith and Therissann Christine Mercer, grandmother of Linda Harbin
Davies.  She was the granddaughter of Cornelius Whittington Mercer and
Elizabeth McGill.  Cornelius Whittington Mercer was a pioneer settler of Winn
Parish, La.)
