Colored Deaths

Margaret Harris

Margaret Harris, 73, retired instructor of the Winnfield Training School, died
at the home of her daughter, Inez Williams, in Bossier City, La., Oct. 31. 
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 3, at 2 p.m. at Burke's Chapel,
CME, in L & A Quarters, with service by the pastor. Burial was in the
Winnfield Colored Cemetery.

A teacher in Winnfield for 18 years, the deceased leaves her husband, Tom
Harris, Winnfield, and a daughter of Bossier City.
