Henry Harlan, Winn Native, Dies Nov. 28

Henry Elbert Harlan, 82, of Bogalusa died Wednesday, November 28, 1973, at
his residence in Bogalusa.  He was a native of Winnfield and a retired civil
service employee.  Harlan once was affiliated with Central State Life
Insurance Co. in Alexandria.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Corkern Harlan of Bogalusa; two daughters,
Mrs. Helen Harlan Creed of Alexandria and Mrs. Cynthia Harlan Edmonston of
Houma; two sons, William H. Harlan of Montgomery and Tandy Peters Harlan of
Winnfield, 10 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in Brown's Funeral Home Chapel in
Bogalusa with Rev. Sollie Smith officiating.  Burial was in Corkern Cemetery.
