Final Rites For Mrs. Lela Harlan, Winn Native, Held

Mrs. Lela Mae Jenkins Harlan, 64, a resident of Shreveport and native of Winn
Parish, died Sunday, March 1, 1959, in Hodge.  Burial services were held at 10
a.m. Tuesday from the Hodge Baptist Church with Dr. A. D. Rockett
officiating.  Burial was in the Forest Park Cemetery, Shreveport.

Mrs. Harlan is survived by her husband, W. E. Harlan; and a son, Morris Ray
Harlan, both of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Ella McDowell, Mrs. Olive
DeJean, and Mrs. Eva Hughes, all of Hodge; three brothers, Sion Jenkins and J.
M. Jenkins, both of Winnfield, and G. W. Jenkins of Springhill; one grandson
of Shreveport.
