Funeral Services For Jesse W. Harper Held At Mill Creek

Jesse W. Harper, 83, of Ward 10, died June 3 in a Shreveport hospital after a
lengthy illness.  He was a retired farmer.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Mill Creek Baptist Church
with the Rev. J. T. Caskey officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors are four sons, H. A. Harper of Shreveport, Clyde Harper of Goldonna,
John Harper of Chatham, and Eddie Harper of Jonesboro; two daughters, Mrs.
J. Robinson of Jonesboro and Mrs. Jesse Brewton of Calvin; 26 grandchildren
and 22 great grandchildren.
