T. M. Harper, 62, Dies; Burial At Hurricane Grove

Funeral service for T. M. Harper, 62, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the
chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. Edward Smith, Rev. W.
A. Wimbs, and Rev. Norris Curry officiating.  Burial was in Hurricane Grove
Cemetery near Sikes.

He was a native of Joyce and a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.  He
died at 
9:30 p.m. Friday, December 2, 1966, in a Winnfield nursing home after a
lengthy illness.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mary Harper of Joyce; a son, Grayson Harper of
Hodge, two stepsons, Clomer Walton of Joyce and Leroy Walton of Georgetown; a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Melvina Wilson of Joyce, and five grandchildren.
