All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 30, 1963 Winn Parish Enterprise-News American Final Rites For Mrs. Emma Harrell Held May 27 Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Harrell, 82, were held here at 2 p.m. Monday, May 27, 1963, in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrell died Sunday in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield and had been a member of the Easter Star here since 1917. Survivors are six sons, Paul Harrell of Kenner, Eli Harrell, Hovie Harrell, Jimmy Harrell, Pat Harrell, and Marvin Harrell, all of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Lee Penic of Krotz Springs and Mrs. Nelda Fleniken of Mansfield; a brother, J. F. O'Neal of Winnfield; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Watts, Bill Postle, Woodrow Gough, Eck Bozeman, J. J. Crippen, and Robert Baker.
