Harrell Dead George W. Harrell, age ninety, died at the home of his son, T. L. Harrell in Winnfield, Sunday, December 27th at 8:30 a. m. following an attack of flue some few days ago. Mr. Harrell was born in Kosciusco, Miss., August 17, 1835. In 1883 he with his family moved to Arkansas and six years ago came to Winnfield to make his home. He was consistent and devout member of the Methodist Episcopal Church since young manhood everholding as his criterion the saintly Man of Galilee. He was married to Miss E. J. Ballard before moving to Arkansas and to which union were born ten children, nine of whom are living, six boys, John William Harrell of Camden, Ark., F. F. Harrell of Clarendon, Ark., D. B. Harrell of Denton, Tex., J. K. Harrell of Buena Vista, Ark., and J. W. and T. L. Harrell of Winnfield, three daughters, Mrs. L. E. Long of Goodwater, Okla., Mrs. S. V. Seawright of DeQueen, Ark., and mrs. A. T. Sugg of Whitesboro, Tex. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at three o'clock conducted by Rev. P. M.
