Harrison Victim of Heart Attack Tuesday George Hubert Harrison, age 69, a resident of Winnfield for more than 30 years, died suddenly from a heart attack Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the chapel of the Southern Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Waynon Mott, pastor of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment followed in the Winnfield Cemetery. Born February 2, 1885 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Mr. Harrison came to Winnfield more than 30 years ago to make his home. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Myra Harrison, one son, Herbert C. Harrison, Shreveport, three brothers, Fred and John L. Harrison of Los Angeles, California, and W. T. Harrison, Fort Smith, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Dora Phillips, Fort Smith, Ark. Serving as pallbearers were Ocie Connor, Lester Dickerson, Clyde Taylor, Lee Dean, Clyde Sherwood, and James Guin.
