Pollard Harrison Dies; Buried In Montgomery

Pollard E. Harrison, 71, retired automobile dealer in Montgomery, died in
Veterans Administration Hospital at Alexandria Tuesday after a long illness.

He was a graduate of Louisiana State University and Chillicothe, Missouri
Business College.  He was a past director of the Colfax Banking Company, a
veteran of World War I, with 18 months of overseas service.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic
Church in Montgomery.  Burial was in the Montgomery Cemetery under direction
of Hixson Funeral Home.

He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Miss Marchia Frances Harrison of New
Orleans; and two daughters, W. P. Harrison of Montgomery and Dr. F. J.
Harrison of Natchitoches.
