Mrs. Pearl Wright Harrell Succumbs In DeQuincy, La.

Mrs. Pearl Wright Harrell, wife of E. B. Harrell of DeQuincy, la., and native
of Winnfield, passed away at 12 midnight Sunday, December 21, at a DeQuincy
hospital, following several weeks illness.

Funerals services were conducted Tuesday at the DeQuincy Baptist Church of
which the deceased was a member.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star. 
Burial was in DeQuincy Cemetery.

Mrs. Harrell, a member of a prominent Winn Parish family, was a graduate of
the Winnfield High School and of Sophie Wright Newcomb College.  She had been
a resident of DeQuincy for many years.

Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Clint Hanchey of Lake
Charles and Mrs. Oscar Carlson of DeQuincy, and six grandchildren.

She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Florence Dalton of Baton Rouge; and three
brothers, Dr. Roy Wright and Bill Heard Wright of Baton Rouge; and Jimmy
Wright of the Veterans Hospital, Alexandria.
