Funeral Services Held Dec. 31 For R. A. Harvey, 63

Last rites for R. A. Harvey, 63, a resident of Winnfield for the past 36 years
were held at the Assembly of God Church in Laurel Heights at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, December 31, with the Rev. C. M. Robinson of Winnfield officiating,
assisted by Miss Mildred Green, assistant pastor, Assembly of God Church. 
Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Harvey passed away at a Shreveport hospital on Tuesday, December 29, after
an illness of several weeks.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. R. A. Harvey of Winnfield; two sons, E. A.
Harvey of Jonesboro and E. R. Harvey of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. H. J.
Henderson, Mrs. J. L. Roberson, and Mrs. C. E. Hudson of Winnfield; one
brother, Jack Harvey of Boyce, La.; and three sisters, Mrs. L. T. Chandler of
Ferriday, Mrs. Bertie Roberson of Epps, La., and Mrs. Mathave Phillips of New
Orleans.
