Sikes Native Dies; Burial At Hebron Tuesday

Mrs. Cotman Hatten, 85, died Sunday, August 15 in a Monroe nursing home after
a long illness.  She was a native of Sikes.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Hebron Baptist Church
near Grayson with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe.

Survivors include two sons, Horace of Monroe and the Rev. H. L. Hatten of
Booneville, Miss.; two daughters, Mrs. Eula Jordan and Ms. Elvie Grayson, both
of West Monroe; 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
