L. L. Hatten, Victim of Car Accident Is Buried July 26th

Funeral services for L. L. Hatten, 64 years of age, of the Sikes Community,
who died as the results of an automobile accident, when he was crushed by a
truck, were held at the Wright Cemetery, July 26th.  Mr. W. S. Emmons
conducted the services.

The deceased was born and reared in the Sikes Community.  He was a member of
the Methodist Church.  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mabel Erskins Hatten, and
three sons, Winson W., Wayne, and Quinton, all of Sikes, and several brothers
and sisters.
