Mrs. Mae Bell Hatten, 72, Dies

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mae Bell Hatten, 72, at the Hart
Pentecostal Church Monday, March 20, 1950 at 10 a.m.  Mrs. Hatten died in a
Winnfield hospital Friday.

Services were conducted by Mr. W. S. Emmons, assisted by the Rev. A. D. Murray
of the Sikes Baptist Church.  Burial was in the Wright Cemetery.

Surviving are three sons, Winston W. Hatten and Wayne Hatten of Sikes, and
Quinton Hatten of Sacramento, calif.; three brothers, Crockett Erskins of
Sikes, Jessie and Allison Erskins of Shreveport, and one sister, Mrs. A.
Herring of Jena; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish.
