Mrs. Sara Jane Hatten, 85, Dies July 4 at Sikes

Following a lengthy illness, Mrs. Sara Jane Hatten, 85, died at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Wesley Mayes, of Sikes, Thursday, July 4, 1946.

Funeral services were conducted Friday with burial in the Wright Cemetery. 
Mrs. Hatten was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

The deceased was the widow of the late Presley Hatten.  She leaves two
daughters, Mrs. Wesley Mayes and Mrs. W. A. Hatten of Sikes.
