Gertrude N. Hay

Services for Gertrude N. Hay were held at 2 p.m., Monday in the chapel of
Southern with the Rev. Wayne Romig officiating.  Burial was in Evergreen
Cemetery in Goldonna.

Mrs. Hay, 78, died Saturday, January 7, 1989, in Rapides General Hospital
after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, Felix E. Hay of Dry Prong; two sons, W. D. Hay
and James Hay, both of Dry Prong; four daughters, Gladys Lemmons of Atlanta,
Lennie James of Goldonna, Winnie Johnson of Dodson, and Ruth Cross of Deville;
one brother, Dewey Nunn of Shreveport; two sisters, Louella Bullard of Heflin
and Ora Mae Wilkerson of Deville; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
