Colored Resident Fannie A. Hobdy, Buried At Union Hill

Funeral services for Fannie A. Hobdy, 67, colored, were held May 27 at Union
Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery.

She died April 18 in an Alexandria hospital of heart trouble.  She is survived
by nine children, Armenna Thompson of Jonesboro, Eula Walker of
Tannehill, Rosa Lee and Helene Edwards of Oakland, California, Mack Henry and
Carol Hobdy and Eva Mae Booker of Winnfield; two sisters, Carrie Hartwell of
Shreveport and Jimmy Jackson of Tannehill.
