Elmore Headrick, Formerly of Here, Buried In Pineville

Elmore A. Headrick, 52, of Alexandria, died in a Shreveport hospital last
Thursday.  Last rites were conducted in Alexandria Saturday, with burial in
Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pineville.

Elmore made his home in Winnfield with his uncle, R. O. Mills, and aunt, the
late Mrs. Mills, and his grandmother, the late Mrs. Tatum, until he completed
his high school education.  Since then he has been a resident of Alexandria.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ione Ward Headrick; two sons, Robert D. of
Alexandria, and Elmore G., of Shreveport; his father, Daniel Headrick of
Brazil, and two grandchildren.
