Funeral Rites For Mrs. Ida F. Hearne Held

Mrs. Ida Fordham Hearne, 75, of Chatham, died Friday, January 12, 1968 in a
Jonesboro hospital after a brief illness.  Mrs. Hearne was reared in the Zoar
Community near Sikes but spend most of her life in Chatham.

She is survived by three sons, Elbert Hearne and Calvin Hearne, both of
Chatham, Norman Hearne of Portland, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Alma Hearne,
Mrs. Catherine Mosley, and Mrs. Bernice Mosley, all of Chatham; one brother,
Noah Fordham of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Jordan and Mrs. Josie
Nugent, both of Chatham; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Zoar Methodist Church
with Rev. C. K. Brooks, Leon Scott, and Calvin O. Laypuade officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery.
