Charles D. Heck Funeral to be Held Friday at 2:30 P.M.

Funeral services for Charles D. Heck, Sr., age 57, a native of Illinois, who
died at a Winnfield hospital Thursday at 5:30 a.m., following three weeks
illness, will be held at the Sanders Chapel Church Friday, Feb. 24, at 2:30
p.m.  The Rev. Mr. Gorham will officiate.

Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral
Home.

Mr. Heck, who was employed on a drag line near St. Maurice, suffered a
cerebral hemorrhage three weeks ago.  He was a resident of the Couley
community and was a member of the Clarence Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Flossie Bonnette; two sons, Glen Dale and 
Charles D., Jr.; two daughters, Mrs.  Charlotte Vails and Geraldine Heck of
Natchitoches.
