Last Rites For W. D. Henderson Held Monday

William David Henderson, 84, of Winnfield, died late Saturday night in a local
hospital after an illness of about one month.

Last rites were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in South Winnfield Baptist Church,
with the pastor, Rev. J. O. Payne, assisted by the Rev. Louis B. Williams,
officiating.

Burial was in the Springhill Cemetery near Ball, La.

Acting as pallbearers were Leon, Bobby, Vernon, Harold, and Leroy Henderson,
all grandsons, and Floyd Frederick.

Surviving are five sons, Anthony Henderson, West Monroe, Wesley Henderson,
Woodville, Tex., Fred Henderson and Don Henderson, Georgetown, and Litton
Henderson, Slidell; three daughters, Mrs. Talton Chelette, Colfax, Mrs. Robert
Goins, and Mrs. Kenneth Rozelle, Winnfield; two brothers, Sam Henderson,
Monroe, and George Henderson, Tioga; a sister, Mrs. Florence Dunbar, Tioga,
and 38 grandchildren.
